Getting to La Ceiba Honduras

Migratory Requirements
1. Valid passport for at least six months after the departure date agreed.

2. Rountrip ticket or multiple stop ticket to continue your journey to other country.

3. Visa extended by the Honduran consulate.

If your visit will take no longer than 30 days Visa is not required for the next countries:
Argentina, Australia, Canada, Chile, Costa Rica, United States of America, El Salvador, European Union, Guatemala, Iceland, Japan, Liechtenstein, Malta, Monaco, New Zealand , Nicaragua, Norway, Panama, Puerto Rico, San Marino, Switzerland, Uruguay and The Vatican.

Taxes
When leaving the country you pay the Airport Tax for $25.00 (U.S. dollars).

Transportation
La Ceiba is accesible by air, land, and sea. It has an airport with the capacity to receive airplanes of any size, for more information you can contact your favorite travel agency.
The roads that communicate the city with the rest of the country are in perfect conditions due to the importance of the commercial zone. There are buses that travel daily to Honduras from Guatemala, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Panama.

The pier of coasting trade receives daily freight shipments and tourist boats coming from the Bay Islands, if you are in one of this islands it will be easier and you’ll save money when reaching us.
