TO VISIT IN LA CEIBA HONDURAS In La Ceiba you will find plenty of places to make trips, tour around and even make scientific visits. Some of them don’t require tour operators, other trips like visits to national parks and rafting will have to be done in special businesses that give this service and will guide you on your tour. |

Cuero y Salado Wildlife

| This National Park is a reserved area of wild life. It is located in the triangle that the rivers Cuero and Salado form. Here they offer protection to some 35 animal species, including the manatee or sea cow, jaguars, white face monkeys, alligators, etc. In this paradise you’ll find an extensive variety of 198 bird species that represent 28% of the whole bird species in Honduras. |

| The most diverse National Park in Honduras and the second in extension, its land varies in altitude to 7300 feet above sea level giving place to different types of forests (cloudy, tropical rain and dry).
